Apartments Ivec

We stayed in an attic apartment that was surprisingly cool, so we didn't need to switch on the air conditioning. The apartments are even nicer in person, and the owner has her own homemade liqueur to offer.

The one thing missing for us was a freezer. When you're out all day with a cooler, having ice would be useful. The landlady kindly offered to let us use hers, though we didn't want to bother her. Maria was always helpful and very kind without intruding. The apartment is small (2 + 2) but clean and has what you need, plus air conditioning and convenient parking. It's in a stunning spot, just 50 meters from the sea and lively waterfront. There was no noise, only pleasant background music, and you can walk to all the amenities. Highly recommended.

The beach nearby is only about 200-300 meters away, but it's very small and mostly concrete, though still pleasant. For a longer beach trip, there's Stara Baška, a lovely, almost forgotten corner. If you're after more entertainment, Nowa Baška has a great 1-2 km stretch with lovely water and plenty of attractions, good for children and teenagers. The place itself is nice and close to the port and promenade.

The staff were very good, friendly, and helpful. The beach and town center are just steps away, and the main shops are close too, handy if you don't have a car or prefer not to use one.
