A great place to stay by the sea, with all the facilities you need and welcoming hosts. Just right if you’re after a proper break.

The location was fantastic, and there was plenty of parking. But the apartment was shockingly dirty. I found old meat blood in the fridge, the bathroom was awful, and the neighbors’ bathroom smelled like urine. There was dust under the beds thick enough to look like carpet. The listed floor area was much bigger than the apartment actually felt. The barbecue grill mentioned in the description was being used as a flower stand. The owner said straight away that we couldn’t sit outside on the terrace in the evening because he was sick. After a long discussion, he let us stay there until 10 p.m. He kept insisting that Stepan's apartment was high standard, even though the experience was unpleasant. I’ve been to Croatia five times and know what to expect. Poor.

The hosts were friendly and easy to talk to, and the apartment was nice and close to the beach.
