The children had a great time in the big, shady fenced garden, with a trampoline, sandpit and large digger, swings, slide, and playhouse. There were lots of mosquitoes, though. Inside, we found two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single and bunk beds. We were six, four adults and two children, so they set up a folding bed in the dining area, but we didn't need it. The windows have mosquito screens, and the TV has Netflix, which helped when we wanted cartoons. There was also a toilet seat, step stool, and bed guard in a closet. We used the washing machine and dryer for clothes and towels. The kitchen is small but well equipped with a sink, gas stove, oven, microwave, and plenty of cutlery, glasses, and plates. Most of the pots and pans are in the cupboard under the TV. The hot water tank is large, so there was enough for all of us. One annoyance was the fridge door, which doesn't shut properly and lets air in. We enjoyed the stay overall, but the last day was worrying. A man from the electricity company arrived to cut power to the building because the owner hadn't paid the bills. We were about to leave, so it didn't affect us, but we worried about the next guests and couldn't reach the housekeeper. That's why I gave three stars. The owner should arrange a deep clean before next season and pay the invoices. Things looked tidy on the surface, but under and behind the furniture there was a lot of dust, trash, and items left by previous visitors. We had to look for toys now and then, and it was clear those spots hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Vrtača beach is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of other beaches along both sides of the coast, so you can find one that suits you. Some don't allow dogs to swim. There was also an outdoor fitness area by Rova beach. A small shop nearby meant we didn't need to drive during our stay.
