Villa Rova

The shaded private beach under the olive trees is just a few metres from the sea, and the pool is wonderful too. Hotel Vila Rova has become a family favourite. We come for a few days every year, and I always look forward to returning. The sea-facing bedrooms are my pick, though all the rooms are clean, comfortable and really nice. Both restaurants are spectacular, especially the bistro, and there's great food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to central Malinska, with plenty to do if you get bored. I've attached photos of the beach view and the bistro.

The seaside location and beach access made a big impression on me. The rooms are a little small, but comfortable and well-equipped, and room size isn't my top concern since you're not spending all day inside. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the staff were professional, attentive and genuinely hospitable. The food was incredible, with a varied menu, lovely presentation and local ingredients. Everything was also available gluten-free. I had an exceptional stay and would highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

Breakfast was a tasty à la carte affair, and the spa area and outdoor whirlpool were a great extra. The sea was super clean and the location was great. Rooms could be a little larger, though we spent most of our time in the sun anyway.

We've returned to Hotel Vila Rova on Krk Island over the years, and it's always a pleasure to be back. The staff create such a friendly, family-like atmosphere, and the serving staff are attentive to every little detail. Our rooms have always been spotless. We love staying here.
