Villa Tranquilla

The owner was incredibly attentive, and the villa was just right. It's a peaceful place in a beautiful village.

Dawor was an exceptionally good host. We arrived to find a large piece of cheese, salami, fresh bread, and a bottle of excellent red wine waiting in the fridge. After the journey, our "starved little ones" were exhausted, and that welcome saved us from having to look for a restaurant in the 36°C heat. We stayed for two wonderful weeks in August 2025. The house was spotless and lovingly maintained, in top condition throughout. Everything is new and modern, and in every way it meets the standard of a five-star-plus property. The pool isn't heated, but in the summer heat that felt more like a blessing than a drawback. The location is superb. "Mutvoran" is easy to reach, and the old, now dilapidated bishop's residence and its well-preserved church still show the cultural and religious influences that once shaped the region. The beach is about a 12-minute drive away. Even in peak season we found parking easily, then relaxed at an affordable beach bar. Ladies and gentlemen, get typing and book this house! It's worth every penny.

The area is very quiet. We did hear a few dogs barking in the distance in the evenings, but it wasn't really bothersome. Pula is 20 minutes away and Cape Kamenjak about 45 minutes. The host took great care of the house and pool, and his restaurant recommendations were spot on. It was a perfect stay for four adults, a toddler, and two dogs. Nothing was lacking, and we'd love to come back.

I've always loved this place, and I hope we can return soon. The host is very kind and helpful, and the location is strategic. There's lots of space in the large house, the garden/park is lovely for kids, and the pool is top-notch. We left our hearts there ♥️
