The setting was just what we hoped for: a quiet village away from the tourist crowds, with lovely swimming spots, restaurants, a supermarket and beautiful scenery. We went without a car and enjoyed the walk down to the beaches and marina. There’s a bakery van at the bottom of the hill with fresh bread and pastries, perfect to bring back after an early swim. The villa itself is beautiful and had plenty of room for all seven of us. We loved cooling off on the marble floors and with the air conditioning, then spending time by the gorgeous pool and outdoor dining area. From the hill and upper balcony, we could enjoy the sea view. Petra made things so easy. She stocked up on groceries before we arrived and shared restaurant recommendations, and her father gave us excellent taxi rides to Split and Trogir. We had a magical, peaceful holiday and were genuinely sad to leave Villa Mia. It has a very special atmosphere.

We loved the little beaches around the harbour, the bakery, and the restaurants. The house is up a hill, but it was an easy walk for us even without a car. In the summer heat, the breeze from the hillside, the shaded spots, and the air conditioning made it comfortable. The pool and house were even better than we expected. Everything worked and was very clean, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into making the place relaxing. The saltwater pool is really deep, which our teenagers loved, and the filtration meant it didn’t feel chlorine-heavy. Petra replied quickly before our trip and was just as responsive during our stay. She and her family made us feel welcome and were generous and accommodating. Thanks to them for a great visit.

We had two small dogs with us, and they loved running around the house on the hot days. There’s a large pool nearby, the shop is a 10-minute walk away, and Trogir is about a 15-minute drive. The house and its quiet surroundings made for a wonderful, comfortable holiday, with lovely sea views and great walking nearby. The owners were so kind and treated us to fruit from their own garden. We’re heading home sad to leave, but those happy memories will stay with us even when it’s raining outside. No one can take them away. We love Croatia for its friendly, smiling people, and come back every year.
