Villa Bayview

The biggest weakness was the internet. The wifi was incredibly weak, and only got stronger at one particular spot by the pool. That felt a bit disrespectful for a modern hotel. I stayed five nights with my two children in apartment A7, which is meant for two adults. It was on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the sea and surroundings. The rooms seemed newly decorated, the apartment was clean, and everything worked, though some equipment showed minor wear. The kitchen was fully equipped. The air conditioning worked well, but it was only in the kitchen, so we had to leave the bedroom door open. The villa is up a hill, which gives you a nice view, but the walk back takes about 10 minutes and is a tough climb. Going back and forth from the beach is tiring unless you have a car. The area is quiet, but also deserted. Behind the villa is basically dry wasteland in summer, and Ciovo doesn’t offer much walking or hiking. You can mostly explore the beaches. There are plenty of relatively nice swimming spots nearby, though the villa pools are simple and don’t match the sea’s beauty.
