A nice place.

The owner was very warm and friendly, such lovely people. The location is quiet and beautiful, with a supermarket, restaurant, and bakery nearby. Kastav sits high on the mountain, so the views are magnificent, though the drive up is quite exciting. The apartment had good equipment, but some kitchen utensils were dirty in the cupboards and hadn't been cleaned properly. The owner should check that regularly. I also missed having a washing machine. Parking was the main drawback: the spots the owner provided were always taken by people who didn't live there, and parking on such a steep slope felt unsettling. Since we needed the car for excursions, finding a space near the apartment in the evening was always a challenge.
