Apartment Leonardo

The pool was pleasant for a swim, but it was the one clear plus for us. We booked Apartment Leonardo, Apartment No. 8, for 16 nights, then left three days early. There wasn't enough to explore nearby, and the apartment was too uncomfortable for a longer stay. For the high price, we expected the comfort promised by the listing and reviews, but the place had only the bare essentials and didn't come close. It was also unclean. The room doors looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in ages, the kitchen cupboards were sticky on the outside, and the pillows were dirty and unpleasant. The landlord replaced them after we raised it. We had no proper bath towels at first. Some arrived only a few days later, after we contacted the landlord. The furniture felt very cheap. The main bedroom's double bed rocked whenever anyone turned over, like a boat at sea. In the second bedroom, the mattresses were so thin that our 15-year-old son stacked two to get somewhat comfortable. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped, without even a decent frying pan. There was no vacuum cleaner, and three cupboard doors were filled with the landlord's repair supplies, so those cupboards couldn't be used. Wi-Fi reception was poor and it cut out three times. It came back after we contacted the landlord.
