Tea made me feel welcome right away, and was so sweet throughout my stay. The apartment had plenty of space, separate rooms, and a terrace with outdoor seating and a garden view. The nearest beach took about seven minutes to reach; the larger main beach was a 20 to 30 minute walk, depending on your pace. As I was leaving, Tea gave me a little gift and a freshly baked cake. Thank you so much, Tea. I’ll definitely come back, and I’d happily recommend staying here.

The host was easygoing and nice, and the location is handy for both town and the beach. But the map pin is wrong, even though Google has the right address. The listing also made it look like there was a terrace. There isn’t one, just a tiled patch in the garden. Inside, the place feels dated and a bit worn. There aren’t many kitchen utensils, the large bathroom has no shower holder, and the toilet seat is loose. The sofa and two tiny armchairs looked too flimsy for adults to sit on. Worst of all, the mattress is so thin and soft that you can feel the bed’s metal frame against the backs of your legs when sitting. We felt the flat was overpriced.

The apartment was well kept, and it sounds like updates will happen over time. The landlords were friendly, though their English was basic. Shops are about a five-minute walk away. The pebble beach is roughly 300 metres from the apartment, while the town centre and sandy beach are around two kilometres away.
