Apartments Vila Palma

We had everything we needed for a holiday here, and I’d happily return, even though I usually don’t revisit places. Our three-person apartment was just a couple of steps from the pool. It was roomy, with a kitchenette and useful appliances including a fridge with a freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. You’ll need to bring your own salt, pepper, and tea. There’s also a washing machine and a barbecue. The pool was quiet most of the day, and there were comfortable loungers. Shops like Lidl and Konzum are nearby, the town center is close, and Pula isn’t far. The neighborhood was peaceful.

We had to cancel our trip because of work, and although I was promised the deposit back, I still haven’t received it. We were a group of four with our dog, booked through booking.com, and paid €280 on January 23, 2025. I handled the cancellation on February 19, 2025. After I followed up on April 11, nobody in the family contacted me. As of April 17, 2025, the money still hadn’t been returned. I’m sorry we can’t take the trip, but being left out of pocket €280 is outrageous. I advise others to be careful about paying a deposit if they may need to cancel. I’ll be turning this over to my lawyer, and I hope the family gets in touch and refunds the money.

The harbor is a 16-minute walk away, and the pool is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the apartment was clean. I’d definitely stay here again.

We were disappointed to find five cots and two sofa beds instead of the seven beds we expected from the listing. That was the reason for taking off a star. Apart from that, the place was great. Vila Palma has several small apartments around a shared pool, with a barbecue beside it and a lovely sea view through the palms. The apartments were clean and the pool well cared for. I especially liked the little front garden with its loungers, two fountains, and big palm trees. The town and beach are easy to reach on foot.
