Arena Medulin Mobile Homes

We came expecting a lovely, peaceful spot by the sea, but the music kept us up until 4 a.m. I usually sleep easily, yet it was far too loud. Reception said we could choose our own pitch, but didn’t explain that spots near the bar are right by the speakers. I doubt the back of the campsite is much quieter either. When we went to pay the next day, nobody even managed a smile. Other reviews suggest this has happened before. This was the night of 27-09 to 28-09-2025.

The location is perfect, and both the campsite and beaches are beautiful. The mobile homes meet the basic needs, but they need renovation and the beds are very poor quality. Music from outside the camp was also quite loud and noisy.

The site photos make you fall for the place, but what we found at Arena Medulin Campsite was a mess. We’d booked a Premium Lot pitch for seven nights and told them our motorhome was 5 tons and 8.5 metres long. Still, the pitches weren’t marked or clearly separated, there was no water hookup, only electricity, and the site wasn’t suitable for our vehicle. At €540 for the week with electricity, it was far too expensive for what was offered. The toilet and shower blocks looked as if they hadn’t been updated since the 1980s. We checked out straight away and didn’t spend even one night there. Extremely disappointing. Definitely never again.

The bar by the entrance has a loud disco that goes on until 2 a.m., and until 4 a.m. on weekends. You can hear it across the whole campsite, even far from the bar, so sleeping was impossible. The noise ruined our holiday and made us leave early. That’s a real shame, because the campsite itself is beautiful, mostly set among pine trees, with both pebbly and rocky beaches. It’s a large area, so a bike or scooter is handy, and the several sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained.
