Guest House Palma

Clean and really nice, in a great location. Breakfast was fresh and had everything you need. I'd definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was satisfactory, but it couldn't make up for the rest of my stay at Palma Medulin. The room smelled unpleasant and had old, worn furniture. It was also nothing like the room shown in the booking photos, which set very different expectations. The courtyard looked neglected and disgusting, and the tiny parking area was practically useless, with no comfortable space for our car. Noise made it impossible to sleep well. The walls seemed to have no insulation, and we heard everything from neighboring rooms, including the man downstairs snoring. The shower was cramped and poorly kept. Its door wouldn't close properly, water covered the bathroom floor, and the drain left us standing in ankle-deep water. When I asked for dairy-free milk, the staff reacted with annoyance instead of accommodating a simple dietary request. The reception was inside the exchange office, hard to find, and had no clear signs, which made checking in frustrating. All these problems made the visit extremely unpleasant, and I strongly advise against staying here.

The location is great, and the air conditioning was fine. The parking was awful, though. The furniture is old, the kitchen is poor quality, and the fridge was almost out of order.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great, with snacks for the kids. The apartments are close to Bijeca beach and the city centre.
