This works really well if you want a resort holiday away from things, where you mostly stay put and maybe wander to one local place once. The rooms, from the hotel to the cottages, are clean and roomy, with a fridge and two TVs, though I didn’t need the TVs. There’s also a big storage rack I’d love to have in my own bedroom. Rooms are serviced every other day, and towels are changed daily. The food was served three times a day, with a snack bar offering something different each day. There was a fresh cooking station, and the omelettes were lovely. Pastries came out each morning, and fresh fruit was available at every meal. The service staff were polite and efficient. I don’t have children, but the place seems great for families: there’s an animation team, a kids’ park, a children’s pool and an indoor play area. They run games through the day that people of any age could enjoy, and there’s a mini disco in the evening before 9, after which things are more for adults. The animation team made my holiday. You can get to the bay and sea, where there’s an inflatable, a paddle boat and a kayak. There are several pools, including an indoor one with a sauna and steam room.

The setting is lovely, with amazing views and very clean, beautifully kept grounds. Drinks were fine and the service was good, though I can see how it might become an issue when things are busier. The main letdown was the food: choices were very limited, and it wasn’t always hot. It was still edible, but didn’t match other all-inclusive places I’ve stayed at.

Brač is a superb island, and the hotel is near Milna, a lovely little harbor town. The views are stunning, the rooms are great and the service was excellent. Food and drinks were good, though the selection could have been wider, and the entertainment was good too. All in all, a fabulous place.

The location is lovely, but the beach is small and rocky. There are at least some activities and entertainment for kids. For a four-star all-inclusive hotel, the food and drinks were a huge disappointment. The food was awful, with cheap ingredients and little or no flavor, and the sweets and snacks were just as bad. The drinks on the all-inclusive menu were horrible too, from the watered-down syrup juices to the poor versions of cocktails. The rooms were only just OK. It may look tempting, but I’d say a definite no. The whole stay was disappointing.

The property and its setting are really good, and it’s definitely on the affordable end. With three pools, sea swimming and buffet restaurants offering decent choices, it seems well suited to families with children. We were there as a couple without kids, so it wasn’t the best fit for us, but we made the most of it and spent a very relaxing day by the sea.
