We booked through Airbnb and were shocked and really upset when we arrived. The villa was run-down, with broken, faded, dirty things and no upkeep. The photos on booking sites are years out of date. Please don’t book it. I’d hate for anyone else to feel disappointed and tricked.

The owner, Hasija, lives next door and is very kind. The villa has lots of room for eight, plenty of dishes, cutlery and glasses, a small first-aid kit, lots of books, and a washing machine. It’s very well equipped, and we liked the pool, though we wished its lights stayed on longer. The sea is very close, but there’s no beach, just concrete slabs and a ladder into the water. We saw starfish and lots of hedgehogs while snorkeling. Milna is a 10-minute drive or a 20-25-minute walk away, though we found it a bit boring.
