Hotel Pleter

The setting around the hotel is charming, but the property itself felt old and nowhere near modern four-star standards. The polished photos gave us a very different impression from the tired interiors, sparse amenities, and basic service we found. Our room was tiny, the TV barely worked, the bedding was torn, and the curtains had stains. The air-conditioning filter looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while. Reception staff didn't speak English, which made simple conversations difficult for international guests. Breakfast was another disappointment: few options, poor-quality ingredients, and nothing to accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets. Even the coffee was a bland machine-made drink. I chose this hotel because of its rating and pictures, and both felt seriously misleading. It might do for a budget stay, but I wouldn't return or recommend it to anyone expecting comfort, good service, or honest presentation.

Drinks on the balcony at sunset were lovely, with that amazing view. The beach is just a couple of meters away, and the owners and staff are genuinely kind, friendly, and so helpful. The beachfront location made for a wonderful stay. I'd love to come back!

I really enjoyed staying at Pleter hotel. The staff gave helpful tips that made exploring the Makarska, Omis, and Split area even better. The hotel is close to the beach but set back enough to feel peaceful. It was a fantastic stay, with great service and comfort, and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable visit.

The food was exquisite, and the whole place had a lovely feel, helped along by the friendly staff. We also had a beautiful view from our room. The hotel itself was amazing.
