Apartments Villa Mirjana

The area was peaceful, and the garden and pool were clearly well cared for. We loved the panoramic view from the pool, and it felt like heaven for anyone who loves cats and dogs 🥰. Our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, a great shower, plenty of towels, and air conditioning that worked really well. The owners were friendly.

The studio was on the small side, though it didn't get in the way of a great stay. We loved the pool and outdoor spaces, and the staff were lovely. The location was incredible, with a great restaurant right next door.

The apartment was lacking in almost every way. The fridge was dirty, there were spiderwebs around, and the shower head was grimy. We also arrived at the agreed time, but spent 10 minutes trying to find someone to hand over the keys and clear the parking space we'd reserved in advance. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. Even set to its lowest setting, 18 degrees Celsius, it didn't cool the rooms. Overnight and in the morning, temperatures were above 30 degrees, so sleeping was impossible. We complained, but nobody came to check or fix it, and they ultimately refused to compensate us. It looks good in the photos, but we'd tell others to avoid it.

We got our laundry done for free, and Katia, the owner, was extremely pleasant when she welcomed us. Our suite was ready and looked just like the listing: cozy, simple, romantic, and nicely furnished, with direct access to the infinity pool. The pool area had an amazing view, and the atmosphere felt like a family place. The location worked well for getting around. It's between the airport and the "Old City," and both are easy to reach by car or Uber/taxi, along with other main attractions. Beaches, supermarkets, and other amenities are a 5-10 minute walk away. We came in the off-season, in "winter," so the cafe on the same grounds was closed, as were many other shops and restaurants.
