House Katarina

We enjoyed our stay so much. This is a great place near Dubrovnik if you want a private, comfortable apartment, and the apartment has everything you could need. Beaches, shops, and restaurants are all around. We're experienced travelers and really loved it. I hope the world situation improves in 2021 so more people can visit the Dubrovnik area. The patio, pool and mountain backdrop made it easy to unwind, and I found plenty of walking routes nearby. I hiked in the mountains several times and felt safe throughout. The closest beach was under a five-minute walk, with other places to swim nearby. The shop and bus stop are also close, so getting a bus north or south was simple. I sometimes rode to Cavtat and walked back on the trail. I was in Dubrovnik for nearly four months, and my month at Katarina and Joskos' was the best part. Katarina made me feel welcome and often checked whether I needed anything. She even treated me to her lovely desserts. My studio suited me perfectly, with everything I needed for cooking and storage, including a little kitchenette, two fridges and plenty of shelves. The bed was comfortable, and Katarina changed the towels and linen whenever needed. The bathroom and shower were a good size, and the boiler always provided hot water. I had such a good stay and would recommend it. I hope to come back next autumn or winter, when it's peaceful but still beautiful.
