Villa Adriatic

The family running Vila Adriatic were amazing. Everyone tried to make our stay as good as possible. The pool has a lovely ocean view and was a relaxing way to end the day. The room was mostly fine, with a good bed, a useful wardrobe and a balcony with an amazing view. The main challenge for us was the stairs. I was travelling with a 21-month-old toddler, and there are lots of steps at the property and on the route to the beach, which made beach trips difficult. Without that situation, the location would be fine for most people, and the beach is no more than 15 minutes away. The bathroom let the room down for me. It took a long time to get the shower temperature right, and there wasn't much range to adjust it. The shower was behind a curtain, which I personally don't enjoy. I look forward to a good shower when I travel, and didn't get one here. I'd recommend the place to people without small children or mobility difficulties.

Amen and family were really nice, and we had lovely views and a great breakfast. The location is handy for both Dubrovnik and Cavtat, and our stay was terrific. There are a lot of stairs up from the road, so it won't suit disabled guests. Parking is available if you have a car, though it can be hard to find.

Mlini made a peaceful base for our five nights in summer 2025, and Villa Adriatic Apartments is only about 20 minutes from Dubrovnik. Our group was six fairly young lads, but the apartments would suit all sorts of travellers. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation in the area, and we'd book it again if we return to Mlini. If the walk down to the coastline feels too far, there's a swimming pool. You can also take an Uber into Dubrovnik to see its history and everyday life. For dinner, the host's family prepares a daily meal at the apartment using home-grown ingredients, with a choice of meat, fish or chicken. You can bring your own drinks, and the hosts have beverages available too if you don't.

The hosts were fantastic and very helpful, and dinner at the accommodation was enjoyable. I was a bit disappointed by breakfast, though, as it didn't meet my expectations. The pool is a downside too: it's very small and not much use if you want a refreshing swim. Still, it's a decent choice for a short stay, with a good location and helpful hosts.
