There are two quiet beaches accessible from this remote spot, and the rooms have modern amenities. About a 10-minute walk away, a very nice little bar serves fresh juices, croissants, and great coffee. Go another five minutes and you'll reach a fantastic upmarket restaurant. A great place to stay!

The sound of cicadas and waves in the distance is part of the setting here, with the beach only steps away and trees all around. The apartments are spotless and well equipped, and there are terraces for eating and barbecuing. Such a peaceful little slice of paradise.

The owners were kind and quick to help when we ran into trouble withdrawing cash. Our apartment had a new kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Out back, a small terrace looks toward the forest, and there's an outdoor shower along the path to the beach, plus a large barbecue. The amenities are basic, but everything was there. The location works especially well for reaching Mljet's two main beaches. You can walk through the pine forest to Limuni Beach, and Saplunara is 900 meters away along a very scenic dirt road. I'd highly recommend this place for families with small children.
