Holiday Home Casa Dei Farfui

We thought we’d spend more time exploring, but Casa dei Farfui has a way of making you want to stay put, and we didn’t mind at all. The villa is set among Istrian vineyards and olive groves, with a peaceful hush you rarely find in the city. Its pool, looking out over the hills, became part of our daily routine, morning and evening. Inside, there’s plenty of room, and the exposed stone, warm wood, and thoughtful details feel connected to Istria without turning into a theme. The area also makes a good base for seeing medieval villages, hills, waterfalls, and caves, with the sea just over seven minutes away. We’d recommend the experience without hesitation.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Casa di Farfui with the kids, and we’re already sure we’ll return. The location is idyllic, with plenty of places to explore nearby and lovely bike rides to enjoy. The house was spotless and lovingly furnished, with a superbly equipped kitchen, pool area, and outdoor kitchen. Guillamo and Mariza were wonderful hosts, always ready to help. The secluded setting suited us well, and there are still lovely places to visit nearby, including quiet coves for swimming. We stayed for two weeks with our children and were given a genuinely warm welcome by Giuliamo and Mariza, who were always happy to help. The house is beautiful and very, very clean, with excellent amenities, especially in the kitchen. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return. Thank you, Giuliamo & Mariza!

Everything looked just like the pictures, and somehow even more beautiful in person. The house and grounds have all you could want for a peaceful, relaxing break. The owners live in the building next door and are very friendly and accommodating, while guests still have complete privacy. The pool and its grounds are exclusively for guests. We’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to return soon.
