The wine and service were the best parts of the meal, and the fireplace inside was lovely. Outside felt a bit dull, with the tables by the road and less of a romantic atmosphere. I came for the truffle pasta because this area is known for truffles, and the restaurant’s reviews sounded great. That was a big disappointment. The pasta had no truffle aroma, and it was swimming in butter that drowned out the flavors. When I complained, the waiter brought out the truffle, and it smelled bad. I gave dessert a chance anyway because of the reviews, but the tiramisu was bland, stiff, and boring.

Marco really brings the place to life, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful dinner at La Parenzana, starting with local cheese and meat, followed by grilled shrimp, then the "peramisù," a delicious pear-cream take on tiramisù instead of the usual mascarpone. Five stars out of five, maybe even six. Definitely worth repeating.

We had a lovely time here for our 5th anniversary. The food was delicious, much of it made with local ingredients, and the staff were very kind. The garden is close to the street, though not many cars pass by, and the atmosphere was nice.

The portions were generous, the ingredients locally sourced, and the food was amazing. Service was exceptional and everything was great. The attached hotel is great too.

La Parenzana is well worth checking out if you’re in Istria. The food was amazing and looked just like the pictures, and the place was super clean. We got a warm welcome and the waiters gave us awesome service. Everything was spot on.
