Agrotourism Japodi

We spent both evenings having dinner at Hotel Japodi, for an extra charge, and the food was delicious. The conversations were even better. Breakfast was included and tasted so good too. Our room was comfortable, with a gorgeous view, though really every direction here is beautiful. I loved sitting on the porch with a book or journal and a blanket. We also tried the sauna one evening after a day of walking and exploring, which felt great. Robert and Jagoda have clearly put a lot of care into making this such a special home.

The hot tub under that lovely sky was a real highlight, and chatting with the host was even better. Sunger is near some beautiful national parks and the source of the kupa, though I didn't get to see those myself. I did make it to Bajer lake, which was lovely. The quiet was another big plus. A wonderful stay, and I'd recommend booking a room here.

The owners are warm, speak several languages, and have plenty of knowledge and practical sense. They clearly care about the details and cleanliness. The house and rooms were in very good shape and comfortably furnished. The food was tasty, with an effort to include local dishes, and the location is lovely. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The location puts you close to nature in Gorski Kotar, and the rooms are well equipped. We had a really nice stay at Japodi Boutique hotel, thanks in part to the very friendly hosts. A good choice for a holiday in the region.
