We spent a week here on vacation. There are several beaches you can reach on foot or by car, which is a big plus. Getting around on foot otherwise is difficult, though, since the roads are pretty much the only places to walk. With a car, everything is nearby. It’s a good option if you’d rather not stay in Nin.
It’s a quiet little town at night, with a pebble beach, a couple of markets, and a handful of restaurants. Seems well suited to older couples who love the sea, or families with younger and preteen kids.
We keep coming back, and have done for ten years. Going at the end of August or start of September means it’s calm and peaceful, without the crowds 😊 Zadar is only about half an hour away.
A family friendly beach with a nice bar and a small supermarket. Parking costs 20kr a day, and the toilets are free.
Restaurants, bars, and fast food are nearby, and the beach is nice, with small stones. Bring swimming shoes. It’s a pleasant holiday spot and works well for families.
