Fantastic holiday with small children - 200m from beach

We won’t be back. After five years living in Croatia, I’ve never had such a bad experience with a host. Everything seemed friendly until we asked questions, and then the response was rude. The host changed the listing description after we booked, and we ended up missing a room. Our complaint wasn’t properly dealt with. Two beds had dirty sheets, and Wi-Fi was completely overloaded. We could hear every word through a locked living-room door that led to the upstairs stairwell. An elderly woman suddenly came through a locked sliding door and stood in the middle of our apartment. The place was modern and attractive for three people, but it had no atmosphere, and we couldn’t relax.

The beach walk in front of the house has cafes and restaurants, and there’s a bakery an easy walk away for breakfast on the terrace. Pebble and sandy beaches are close too. We found the accommodation spotless and everything was in excellent shape. The hosts were really easy to deal with. We’ll definitely return!

My wife cleaned the apartment as we’d agreed. The lady admitted she’d been scammed, then knowingly refused to pay. A very bad, unprofessional experience.
