Apartment Voltera

It’s a charming old stone house, and staying there felt special. Such a unique place to base ourselves while visiting Croatia, and it added something extra to the trip. Loved it!

Betina itself is lovely and quiet, and April was a perfect time for us to escape into some peace and quiet. But for this kind of accommodation, the price felt quite excessive. After booking, we were told that any extra help, even finding the parking or apartment, would mean another €10 added to the payment. We were also told there’d be an extra €10 if we didn’t clean the kitchen before leaving. It felt like money was being charged for everything, which was strange. I expected more based on the photos on Booking.com and Google, especially the earlier reviews. The place is poorly maintained and has unpleasant odors. We booked an apartment with a sea view, but all we could see were walls covered by sheets the owner had hung up. I don’t know, a little more clarity would have helped us feel better about the stay. It’s a shame, because Betina is so lovely and peaceful.
