The showers had hot water and the toilets stayed clean, which made the stay easy with our one-year-old daughter running around. The camp is peaceful, set back from the main road, and close enough to walk to the beach. We planned on two days and ended up staying eleven. For us, it was the best camp on the island. The owner was great, and we also tried the physiotherapy studio's classic massage. Really good.

We left the next morning for Plitka Vala, where they were much more welcoming, found us space in peak season, and charged less. The pitch here was spacious and the location beautiful, so it could be a fabulous campsite, but our night was a real disappointment. It was too hot to sleep, and at 1 a.m. we were chatting with friends from the neighbouring campsite, not playing loud music. The owner came over and told us off like children. We apologised more than enough, but she kept going on about having to work the next day. We were on holiday. She was very rude. I expect this may be called a fake review, but sadly it isn't. I think the site needs to change its ways if it wants holidaymakers to come. 😞
