We found at least 10 cockroaches when we shifted the couch. Disgusting. The hosts didn't offer another room or any fix, so we had to buy cleaning products and insect spray ourselves. Getting even basic things like toilet paper was such a hassle that we gave up and bought it. We also asked for a fan just to cope with the heat, but they wouldn't help. The room was a disaster: one air conditioner that barely worked, no hot water in the bathroom, and a broken shower that gave only a tiny trickle. The hosts had forgotten we were arriving, leaving us waiting a long time. When someone finally came to check us in, they didn't have the room keys either, so we had to wait while new ones were made. They also took a cash deposit and never returned it at the end of our stay. The owner ignored our repeated calls and messages. The whole visit was a nightmare, easily one of the worst places we've stayed. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We were watched through CCTV cameras, and they made us pay for a toilet seat we hadn't broken. The owner listened at our door while we were inside and came into our room without asking. She wouldn't let us visit friends staying in other rooms. There were major hygiene problems in the kitchen and bedroom, and she treated us like kids, even telling us when we had to go to bed.

Sadly, we went through the same thing described in the review before this one. We don't think the owners are suited to this kind of work.

The cameras point straight at the balcony, so they can see everything happening there. The air conditioning was broken and unusable. The whole place was a disaster, and too expensive. For that price, I could've stayed in a hotel with a sea view and less hassle. We booked through Airbnb and were asked for a €150 deposit on arrival, which we hadn't known about. Friends weren't allowed at the hotel, and the owners made a fuss whenever we spent even a little time on the balcony. Talk too loudly out there and the owner would come over and make a huge scene. Speak with friends outside and they'd be chased off right away. That afternoon someone, presumably the son, came asking for our IDs again. We said, “Why? You already have our IDs at check-in.” He threatened to call the police and said we could leave the hotel immediately if we didn't show them again. If you want to be watched from the start, monitored constantly, and stressed over talking too loudly on the balcony, go ahead and book it. Everyone else can find better hotels at that price with less stress. Not recommended.
