Apartments Bella Sky III/IV

Bella Sky is in a great location, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and always willing to help, which made a real difference. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend for a relaxing time in Novalja!

I’m shocked by the state of the room and deeply disappointed. The location might be acceptable, but the conditions inside were disgusting and completely unacceptable. There were ants all over the floor and walls, including around the bed, and more crawling across the terrace. At night I also saw several cockroaches. This is deeply unhygienic for any accommodation, especially one charging guests to stay. I can’t understand how anyone considers these neglected conditions acceptable. Is there no pest control or standard for cleanliness?...

The pool was nice, the owner was kind, and the location was pretty, near the beach and shops and restaurants. We only spoke with the owner at check-in and checkout. The morning cleaning lady, who wasn’t the owner’s fault, coughed around our apartments loudly for at least an hour and woke us several times. It was really annoying. We were six in a room that felt far too small, barely enough space for us. Another four-person room for our group was almost twice as large and in much better shape, even though we all paid the same price. We got an empty linen instead of a blanket. We waited almost an hour at check-in because the rooms weren’t ready, then found ours dirty and damaged. The sheets had brown stains and holes, the towels were stained, and the toilet seat was broken and came off the toilet. Many doors had holes. There were dirty dishes, chipped cups, and dirty glasses, with dust across the furnishings. Worst of all, the bathroom sink had a black layer of dirt and dust in its corners. Our ground-floor windows had no blinds or curtains, so passersby could see inside, and they did look. Since we were all girls, we had to change in the tiny bathroom.

My friends and I were disappointed. Our six-person apartment had just three cups and four chairs, and there wasn’t enough toilet paper. It was cramped, the remote had no batteries, the gas oven didn’t work, and a towel had holes. We also found a cockroach behind the counter.
