The owner lists the apartments on several sites, including Booking.com, so the confirmation didn’t guarantee we had a place. Two days after booking, I messaged to confirm and ask for bank details to pay the deposit. I was then told there were no apartments left. The owner seemed to think that was perfectly fine. Not a fair way to handle a booking.

Close to the sea, and the apartments are spacious, with balconies, two shower bathrooms and a kitchen that has a dishwasher. There’s a dentist’s office downstairs, too, with excellent doctors.

Each apartment is about 75 square metres, with two bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a living room, kitchen and hallway.

The apartment is nice and the price feels fair for what you get. It could use some basics, though. There wasn’t a sponge, mop or kettle.

At the dental clinic, the prices are excellent. The staff are competent and professional, and they’re courteous, too.
