Apartments Ivan

We were assigned this apartment at random by the agency and stayed for seven nights. It's a very small studio for two, but that wasn't the only issue. The mattress was old and seemed full of mites, since we'd start itching whenever we lay down. The kitchen sink was broken, and the stove's faded markings made it hard to tell how to set the temperature. The toilet flooded the bathroom whenever it was flushed, even with the plug shut. There was no bathroom mat, so you had to watch your step, and each person only got two tiny towels that weren't enough to dry off. The bathroom handle was broken, so the door wouldn't stay closed, and the inside door was rotten. Some baseboards were missing, cobwebs hung between the doors and cabinets, and the very rusty clothesline left stains on our clothes. Branches had grown over the walkway to the apartment.
