Apartments Matulo

It was okay.

Some of our young group were allegedly attacked without provocation by one of the owners, who, we say, used weapons including brass knuckles and a baton. The apartment was badly damaged and looked nothing like the photos. We were also made to pay €200 over a small door scratch, even though the damage had already been there before we arrived. I wouldn't recommend the apartment or its attached restaurant. There are aggressive residents, so enter at your own risk.

The large balcony and handy location near the center were the only real upsides for me. It’s a small studio, and the kitchen barely has any supplies. The front door lock doesn’t work properly, and the bathroom has no outlet and gets very little light despite having a window. There are no blinds, so the morning sun falls straight on the bed. The cleaning staff leave a terrible mess while cleaning the other apartments.

We were charged €200 for damage that had already existed before we arrived. The owner seemed to try every trick to get money from guests, and was ignorant when dealing with us. Also, the apartment looked nothing like the pictures, and a violent co-owner living there physically attacked me for no reason. I definitely can't recommend it.
