Apartments Svekrić

This is our third year coming here. We get a small apartment with all the essentials, including air conditioning, plus a roomy outdoor area. Everything works well, and there’s lots of parking if that’s something you’re wondering about. If you’re visiting Nova Novalja, you’ve got everything close at hand here.

It was a really good stay, with everything we needed. The place is affordable and close to the city centre, and we’ll definitely come back sometime.

Good value, and close to the city square.

Sleeping here was impossible. We came to work for a week until 5 in the morning, but after getting back to the apartment we couldn’t rest. By day four we’d managed only about three hours of sleep because there are no house rules being enforced, and the sound isolation is awful. People shouted and made noise day and night, moved furniture, banged paddles, and kicked each other around. You can hear every sound from the neighbouring apartments through the paper thin walls. The apartment itself was badly lacking too. There wasn’t a bin or any bags, and we were given just one roll of toilet paper and no dishcloths. The shower was so narrow you could barely wash, and shaving your legs meant stepping outside it. The toilet had no ventilation. After every shower, water flooded the floor to about 3 cm. With no cloths available, we had to use the towels to soak it up. There were only two towels for five people, and they smelled. I’d never stay here again. I can’t wait to get home and sleep.
