We had a terrible experience and would strongly advise other travelers, especially Germans, to find somewhere else. In our experience, the way security deposits were handled was highly questionable. We paid €1,100 and got only €300 back, after being told that we had damaged two small lamps. We’re convinced they were already broken when we arrived, and it felt like they were looking for reasons to keep part of our deposit. Our group of 21 also had no hot water in three of the four apartments from the first day. We complained repeatedly, but the issue was never fixed before we left. Then, although we had paid through the following morning and our flight was at 8:00 a.m., we were told to leave at midnight because we might damage something during the remaining hours. That would have left us spending the whole night at the harbor after paying for the final night. By far the worst accommodation in all of Novalja.

The owner was extremely rude and charged us because we hadn’t washed the dishes when we checked out. I don’t recommend this place.
