Guesthouse Lastavica

The hosts were friendly, and the accommodation felt warm and comfortable. It’s near the beach, and I’d recommend it.

We found a piece of glass on the floor, so the place clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was also a torn tablecloth, a broken fridge, a damaged shower door, a brown clothes rack, and hardly any dishes. We were very disappointed with the accommodation and definitely won’t come back.

We booked through Booking.com, where air conditioning was included in the price. The owner then tried to charge us an extra €5/day for it. After we complained, he came into the room while we were out and switched it on. He later took away the remote, leaving us cold with sore throats. When we complained again, he entered while we were gone, turned off the remote, and left it there. After another complaint, he finally brought it back without apologizing. All he said was, “Turn off the air conditioning” when you leave. The apartment is supposedly a stinking little room. There’s a bare light bulb in the bathroom, and the refrigerator is falling apart. The closet is not comfortable, it's better. Nobody takes out the trash, so you have to find a way yourself and bring your own bags. Even the toilet paper was half-used during the pandemic, clearly someone's fault. The property is dirty and falling apart, and the whole area is concrete and disgusting. There was also a gang of kids running around to see what was going on. The owner wasn’t nice, pleasant, or hospitable. The team is taking a vacation. Best to stay away. I don’t recommend it.
