The location was handy, close to the main street's bars and restaurants and about a seven-minute walk from the port. My friend and I stayed four nights at Pansion Marija. We called ahead after arriving later than check-in hours, and the hosts were fine with it. Our bunk-bed room was small, but we got used to it, and the balcony was pretty big, around half the room's size. Toilet paper was often missing, and the hosts weren't always available.

The room was old and not comfortable, and the air conditioning came with an extra charge. The remote wasn't in the room. We had paid for breakfast but didn't feel comfortable taking it. The owner said she'd check us in after she ate, so we had to wait, and she wasn't welcoming at all. We didn't like the place and can't recommend it.

BAAAAD! This felt more like a youth hostel, and the nights were super noisy. People talked and traffic could be heard from the balcony, music played from phones behind open room doors, and there was loud talking and footsteps in the hall. The sink next door was extremely loud, and we could hear heavy footsteps above us and doors slamming. It seemed like people were only there to party. The kitchen was disgusting, and it looked as if the guests were the only ones looking after it.

Excellent location, nicely decorated rooms, and hosts who were happy to help whenever we needed something. An excellent pension, now called "Royal Rooms".

The rooms were dirty and disgusting, and the hosts were unfriendly. I wouldn't stay there again.
