The place felt completely run down, from the really hard beds to the broken outdoor furniture. I’ve slept in tents plenty of times and this was still the worst accommodation I’ve had. In the evenings, some kind of “worker” cooked in the basement, then worked on renovating another apartment at night. People ran up and down the stairs in flip flops all night, and the noise was awful. There’s nothing royal about it. I’d sleep better in jail.

SCAM, DO NOT RENT IT. 0 stars. The room we got was dirty, in a basement, with broken doors, and it looked like nobody cleaned it. You might get an upstairs apartment, but at the same price you could end up in that ugly basement. There were no photos of the actual room online. On arrival day, they unofficially asked for an extra 50 euros as a deposit. Dirty, ugly, fraud.

Igor kindly picked us up from the bus station, which was a lovely start to the holiday. The apartments are spacious, with big balconies and plenty of outdoor common space. Guests seemed to enjoy their music, which was great 😍 Zrce beach is a 20 minute walk away, and bars, restaurants and a mini-mart are 10 minutes on foot. We’ll definitely be back.

The apartment itself was amazing, but the host was horrible. When we arrived in August, despite having a reservation, we were told there was nowhere for us to sleep. The alternative he offered was awful, dirty and smelly. After a long argument, he gave us another room, but we weren’t sure we could stay there until the end of the holiday because he changed his mind every day. The place is really good, but the staff are bad.
