Apartments Cajic

NOT RECOMMENDED. We were driving home to Hungary from Split a few days ago when my girlfriend and I decided on the spur of the moment to stop at Apartment Cajic. We wanted to see my sister and her boyfriend and spend a little time together at the beach. We had no plans to sleep there or stay long. We explained this to the owner, who said it was no problem. After about ten minutes talking and drinking coffee at the apartment, the older lady came over and said we'd have to pay if we stayed. We explained again that we were only passing through on our way home. She was very unfriendly, so we went straight to the beach. Afterwards we returned to change and take a quick shower to rinse off the salt. She suddenly barged into my sister's apartment, shouting that showers weren't allowed and that we had to pay. We tried to sort it out, but she wouldn't listen. She asked for 10 EUR for two three-minute showers, which seemed unrealistically expensive. We didn't want an argument or to cause anyone financial harm, so we paid and she took the money. My sister had already spent 600 EUR there, and now we were paying 10 EUR just to shower. A few minutes after accepting the 10 EUR, she came back saying it wasn't enough and demanding more. She yelled and threatened to call the police if we didn't pay, despite having agreed to the amount and taken it. In the end, she forced us to pay 36 EUR for a half day, for just ten minutes of coffee when we arrived and two three-minute showers. We had no other option, so we paid. It felt completely unfair and wrong. Based on this experience, I absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND Apartment Cajic.
