Apartments Nautica

The apartment was tidy and clean, but it didn’t feel cosy. There’s a washing machine but no dryer for clothes, the TV has no channels, and the air conditioner only blows slightly cool air. The street gets loud and busy, though the windows do a good job of keeping the noise out. There were no instructions in the apartment, and the owner was hard to find. Replies were extremely slow or didn’t come at all, and check-in was delayed by 3.5 hours. He seemed not to care about us, and his ignorant, arrogant, and patronizing attitude ruined the stay. We couldn’t wait to book somewhere else. The owner of the new apartment was extremely attentive, which really showed how far below standard this one was.

I was very disappointed with the apartments Nautica in Novi Vinodolski, especially with Karla, who was meant to look after the apartment and guests. She was rude, aggressive, and arrogant, and acted very unprofessionally. There were a few things missing in the apartment, but we could have sorted those out politely. Instead, Karla kept shouting and telling lies. One afternoon, I was showering when the glass door suddenly broke. It hadn’t been repaired properly, and shards cut me, leaving blood everywhere. I’m relieved nothing worse happened, but I keep thinking about what could have gone wrong, like glass getting in my eyes or a child being the one in the shower. I was stressed by it. Even after seeing the blood, Karla didn’t ask if I was okay. My friends told her what had happened very politely. The checkout was another awful experience. We were due to leave at 10:00, but at about 9:15 Karla arrived with another man and started shouting, “get out from our apartment or we call the police.” We tried to calmly ask what was wrong, but they just kept yelling that it was their apartment and we had to leave right then, without giving any relevant reason. Then she texted us claiming we’d stolen a chair from the restaurant. That was a big, disrespectful lie. It makes no sense to steal a chair in front of all those people in the street and restaurant, or to take one to another country. We didn’t steal anything. I really can’t recommend these apartments, especially because of Karla’s very rude and aggressive behavior.
