Auto Kamp Punta Povile

Our family has been coming here since 1959, and I can happily recommend it to anyone wanting a restful camping holiday. It's a great place to spend several weeks and unwind. The pitches have wonderful sea views and sunsets, and the campsite itself is beautiful. Toilets and showers are clean, there's a charming little bar at the autocamp entrance, and the nearby Studenac minimarket is handy for quick groceries.

A beautiful setting and a fantastic campsite, with swimming that's lovely as long as you watch for the cold springs rising from the bottom. It costs less than other places in similar locations. They don't take bookings, but everyone gets fitted in. Highly recommended.

We arrived late, but a security guard let us in. The spot is right by the water, with fantastic views and stairs down to a nice rocky swimming area. The toilets were clean and worked well. For one night from 30.6., we paid €46 for a van, two adults, and a child, without electricity. That seems fair for such a prime waterfront location and is still less than most places in Italy.

We paid 27eur for a tent and motorcycle, which felt far too expensive, and they only accepted cash. Our pitch was deep in the forest because the nice spots are reserved for campers, who pay only a few euros more than a tent. Ridiculous.
