The room itself was clean, but we left really disappointed. The owner’s garden photos look lovely, yet they’re misleading, they’ve been photoshopped. There’s no outdoor grill or garden seating.

The view was lovely, and parking was free. Everything was very clean, and the hosts were so pleasant. We’d happily come back.

The air conditioning was only in the living room, and it barely helped the bedroom. The sofa bed was small for two adults, and the awnings couldn’t be used even in a light breeze. We found the value mediocre, especially compared with Croatian prices before the euro. We paid €95 a night in the third week of August 2024. The apartment was modern and welcoming, with a large parking space and a shared garden in a residential area. It’s a 20-minute walk to the sea. There’s a small balcony for four, but amenities are sparse, with no microwave or dishwasher despite the 5-star rating.

The owner was kind and helpful, and the price felt more than fair. We found the bed comfortable, and the room was very clean with everything we needed. Novigrad’s center is an easy walk away. We stayed just one night and had a great time.
