Premium Sirena Village Holiday Homes

A great spot for a family holiday.

We like Aminess and had booked breakfast, which was really great at the Maestral. Since we preferred eating there, though, we had to pay extra. The holiday home was okay, but so tiny and cramped for two adults and three children. It also had a strange smell, and our clothes smelled afterward too. I even had to wash things we hadn't worn. The place felt far from everything and there was practically no service. We were only there three days, so I was glad we didn't try to cook. We'll avoid the holiday homes next time.

The Classic mobile home is compact, especially the really tiny bedrooms, so take care when booking through an agency or office. Their catalogs and offers often show newer Premium or Bella Vista homes without clearly distinguishing the Classic interiors. If you pay for Classic, don't rely on internet photos and expect the home to look just like them, or you may be disappointed by its older appearance. We had a very positive stay overall, and found the price-quality ratio great for Istria. Our Classic was very clean, functional, and the air conditioning worked fine. The kitchenette had the basics for cooking, with no microwave or oven, which we didn't need. The sports bar is gas. Under the pines there was good shade, and the covered terrace was great for evenings. It's a short walk to the beach, with pebbles and concrete slabs, and about 15 minutes along the coast to central Novigrad. Pets are welcome in the Classic version, and there's a dog beach in the campsite.

There are plenty of activities, and I really recommend bringing bikes. The cycling paths along the sea are fantastic. There's a dog beach too. I stayed at the campsite in a motorhome, on a spacious second-row pitch by the sea with a hedge and white gravel. The sanitary facilities were clean and adequate, though not excellent. The price was twice what the catalog said.
