We meant to stay one night and wound up spending three. It became one of my favorite places on the Istrian Peninsula. Right by the park at the quiet end of town, with great swimming just steps away and plenty of restaurants nearby. The units have just been remodeled, and the welcome package with truffles, craft beer and other goodies was a big hit. The owner was accommodating and spoke good English, and the price was very reasonable. Novigrad is a beautiful, quaint old walled fishing village on the coast, with one of the tallest Venetian towers right next to you. There aren’t tour buses or big tour groups. The bell tower rings, but stops at 10 pm and doesn’t start again until 7 am. I think this is the best location in town.

That sea view was amazing, and the apartment had everything we needed, plus it was very clean. The host was fantastic too. My wife and I will definitely come back.

The area is lovely and the playground is fantastic, but I wouldn't stay here again. We were on the second floor at the very back, so we had to carry the stroller upstairs every time. Ants crawled over us, and earwigs kept showing up. Twice one even fell from the ceiling onto me. Breakfast was included, but there wasn't enough bread for three people, and the shower head was broken and wouldn't stay in place. We stayed six nights with my partner and our two children.

The terrace was a real highlight, and the apartment was peaceful, newly renovated, and very well equipped. It sits right in the city center, and we had a really relaxing holiday. The church service wasn't as some other reviews had described: there were only three services a day, which was more than adequate, not one every quarter of an hour. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We were thrilled and will definitely be back.
