Bed and Breakfast Victoria

The shower had strong water pressure and the Wi-Fi worked well, but that was about all I liked. The room was dated, the TV was unplugged, there was no cold water at the sink, and the walls were so thin we could hear people in the next room. We didn’t get a receipt or any discount for what felt like misleading advertising, so I’d avoid staying here again. You can make up your own mind, of course. 😊 We paid €34 for a room advertised for two, but the bed seemed no wider than 120 cm. The owner seemed surprised that two adults, each around 95 kg and 175 cm and 183 cm tall, expected to sleep there. I asked if we could move to a three-bedroom room, but was told everything was sold out. That was fine, but there was no need to act surprised. We stayed because we didn’t want to find somewhere else in town. I can’t comment on breakfast.

Nothing special, just fine. The sheets were clean and there was hot water.

They were kind and really pleasant, and helped us out when we had trouble with our car. We’d happily recommend this guesthouse. A 10 out of 10 for us.

We got a good offering for a fair price. Set back from the main road and surrounded by greenery, the place was great for resting. The owners were friendly and very helpful. There’s also a nice choice of tasty dishes, cooked fresh each day at genuinely affordable prices.
