Apartments Delta

The apartment was roomy and nice, but the facilities list was a problem: many items either weren’t there or were off site. The kitchen had only basic cutlery and cookware, and enough for just five people. The toaster didn’t work, and the extra bed we requested was broken; a replacement never arrived. The electricity tripped often and couldn’t handle the hob, oven, lights, air conditioning and TV running together. Staff tried to help but were mostly indifferent. The place is also at the top of a very steep hill, so take care if mobility is an issue. Public transport wasn’t easy to access, and we couldn’t get an Uber to collect us from the apartments. I wouldn’t book here again.

The pool and neglected grounds really let this place down. The supposed counter-current feature didn't work, the water was so dirty you couldn't see the tiles, and there was sand on the bottom. I never saw anyone rinse the pool. Every parasol was broken, so there was nowhere to get shade. Staff said they'd sort it out, but nothing changed during my 10 days there, despite several conversations. They talked smoothly without providing real service. There were problems inside too: two porch chairs were broken, the baby bath was cracked, kitchen ceiling bulbs were out, the safe didn't work, and there were little black ants in the kitchen. The apartment also had no decent WiFi. I reported these issues and was told they'd be fixed, but nothing happened. The outside area looked wild and uncared for. I booked this as a four-star apartment because several providers advertise it that way. The place is actually rated three stars, as my photo showed, and staff confirmed that. So I ended up with an unexpectedly expensive three-star stay, not what I'd booked. Apartments Delta could have been a great place, but the people running it ruined the experience. I can't recommend it. Avoid it unless you can get it really cheap. Check my photos.

The view is fantastic and the setting is peaceful. It's a bit of a walk down to the beach, but worth it. The apartment has what you need for a holiday, though it can get so dark inside that you honestly lose track of the time.

The beach was the best part for me, really clean, with gorgeous emerald water. We tried other beaches too, but this one was easily the bomb. The pool and pet-friendly policy are why we picked Delta Apartments, though that climb back up from the beach put me off going down at all. If you're athletic, you'll manage 🤣. Driving? Parking by the sea costs a lot, at least 9-16€. We had plenty of room and a huge, cozy terrace, but the barbecue is entirely separate. Bring dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and your own towels. Our air conditioning wasn't working, so they brought fans, which I appreciated. There was no light in the shower either, and they handed us a bulb 🤣🤣🤣. Things were fine in general, but that hill spoiled the stay for me.
