A beautiful apartment. I stayed for 11 days and really recommend it.

The balcony looks out over a beautiful sea view, and we even received fresh tangerines. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and the price felt fair. We had a wonderful few days, with lovely weather even in October.

The beach being so quiet was a real bonus, even though the apartment is remote. There are several beaches nearby, but the closest ones aren't suitable for children or people who can't swim. The water gets deep immediately, and the rocky shore is accessible despite being equipped. The apartment itself was fine: clean, with fresh linen, crisp white towels, and a welcome bottle of water and Somersby. It has nearly everything needed for a week, including air conditioning, window screens, kitchen utensils, beer and wine glasses, and a lovely shared terrace overlooking the sea. Bringing our own iron was a good call. The owner was always available and replied quickly and directly to our Booking.com messages. Getting there was the hard part. We walked for an hour from Trogir bus station. We tried Uber for an hour, but no car arrived; everyone who accepted canceled after 10-15 minutes, and there were no buses. In the end we paid 25 euros for a taxi. Later, we found out boats leave hourly from near Kamerlengo for the Gornji district, where the apartments are. The boat costs 30 kuna per person, cash only, and gives you beautiful views and a chance to rest your feet. From the pier, it's another 20-minute walk downhill past some ruins. The hostess seemed surprised we didn't have a car, and we were surprised by how we had to get there. It's not the owner's fault, but we hadn't been prepared for it. The remote setting has its upsides: the boat ride, and few people on the beach. We had a good stay and might return, probably by car, or choose somewhere closer to the pier.

The only downside was not having a washing machine, but we managed without one 😉 The price was fairly low considering how new the apartments are, and the beach is just 150 meters away. We were on the second floor and had beautiful balcony views. The owners were incredibly kind, and after a few days they welcomed us with baked goods and fresh fruit. A solid 5!
