Villa Marulovo

The trip worked so well without a rental car. The water taxi and ferry were a 5-10 minute walk away, and we took the boat to Trojir several times, then the ferry from Trojir to Split once. The beach is just down the hill, with friendly bars and places for coffee or lunch, and the nearby Tommys supermarket had what we needed. Okrug is beautiful, and Trojir is close for restaurants and exploring local history. The villa was very well equipped, with plenty of room for our party of six: my husband and me, our two adult daughters and their boyfriends, and a baby. We had space to relax outside, by the pool or jacuzzi, or read on the big rooftop sunbed canopy. The bedroom view was stunning, and the rooftop was breathtaking at sunset with a drink. The boys and girls enjoyed the games room, and the baby tortoises were a treat too. We were welcomed with local meat and cheese, milk, bread, and local liqueur. Ivan was professional, quick to communicate, and incredibly helpful. He arranged airport transfers with a reliable local taxi driver and set up a brilliant boat day with snorkeling, lunch at a fantastic restaurant, and a cocktail cruise to finish. He was also very helpful at checkout when my daughter had a later flight, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. My family and I stayed at Marulovo Hills for the week beginning of June, and we had our best holiday. Everything came together beautifully, from the villa and location to the beach and nearby Trojir and Split. Thank you, Ivan and Maraluvo Hills 🙏
