Villa Prelesnik

We really liked how quiet the area was, and the rocky, steep beaches are lovely, though not a great fit for very small children. There aren’t many shops or restaurants, which suited me since I don’t enjoy crowded resorts full of stalls. This place is especially good for families with older kids who like to wander and learn about Dalmatian culture. The flat was spacious and clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that even had a grater, funnel, and colander. The bathroom was comfortable too, with a big shower and nice towels. The hosts were friendly, and there was a welcome beer and a gift for the children. It’s close to the sea, but the air conditioning wasn’t working, even though we were charged an extra 5 euro per day for it. It got hot at night and after cooking. Mosquitoes were another problem: we couldn’t open the windows or sit on the terrace, and we all ended up with bites. The hosts gave us repellent, though of course the mosquitoes weren’t anyone’s fault. Even with those issues, I really recommend this place.
