Apartment Iva

The apartment was clean, airy, and well equipped, and the huge balcony has an amazing view. Getting to the beach is the tricky part: you can walk along a road with no sidewalks, or take 278 steps down, then climb them back up. Driving is another option, though parking in cramped Omis can be a problem. The host is nice, but doesn't speak foreign languages; her nephew, who knows English well, translates if needed. Over our 10 days, we hoped the bed linen might be changed at least once, but it was okay and we were careful not to dirty it. We were lucky to avoid a heat wave, since air conditioning costs 10 E per day. The city center isn't very far, but getting there still means walking roads without sidewalks, negotiating tight curves, or using stairs.
