The host was great, but what was listed for the apartment didn't match what we found. The ad promised WiFi, air conditioning, and a kid-friendly beach. There was only one portable AC unit for the whole two-bedroom apartment, so it had to be moved between rooms. WiFi only worked usefully in the restaurant, and reaching the beach meant going 300 steps down the hill.
The apartment had a homely feel, a terrace, and the basics like a stove and a bathroom with a shower. Prices were interesting too.
A comfortable place to stay if you don't need much.
The place is fine for people with modest expectations, and the food is good with generous portions. But the guesthouse sits right beside the main road, so the traffic noise never really lets up. The air conditioning didn't work, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The WiFi was down too, a smaller issue, but still a downside.
The rooms are on the small side, but the big terrace makes up for that.
